Girl Geek: Someone who is female and has an interest in technology, particularly computing and new media. Not necessarily technically minded.

Nottingham Girl Geek Dinners are an opportunity for like-minded ‘girls' to talk about technology over food and drinks. The events are aimed at providing a welcoming atmosphere and a platform for learning in an informal environment. They are always held in pubs and bars, and there is usually a speaker who talks for a short while on a chosen subject for the evening.

Rules of attendance

Girls are welcome to attend however if you are male and wish to attend this event you must bring a female with you or be brought by a female. NO FEMALE, NO ENTRY!!!! Sorry Guys! (We will keep the numbers balanced!)
